Con-TemporaryArt third edition!!! During the MiArt week the con-temporary art show comes back with 26 exhibitions and events at the Superstudio Più, huge location for exhibition, in the most creative area of Milan. New projects, big artists, performances, young promises, and meetings.

The inauguration was the 22, Mondey evening, and there was a crowd of people, but 10.000 visitors are forecasted, so you are still on time to get your unit in the total number, until March the 30th!

Among all the works presented, I would like to focus on one, that more than the others reflect our time and society.

“Diverso è un altro modo per dire noi” (Different is an other way to say “us”) is the work of the Italian artist and poet Ivan. The public finds himself in a dark room in which a light box made totem stands. Each light box embodies a portrait made of a photo and a poem. Among the portraits there are Prevert, Dario Fo, Pisolini, De Andrè, Van Basten and Ambrosoli, people and characters who affected in some way the artist’s life. Opposite to the dark room, that is been created with the use of black paperboard panels, there is a white wall fulfil with poems about our past and the idea of the Different that define the our idea of Us.

A reflection on our concept of diversity, on the distance between us and the others, it results very appropriate in a globalize world that still suffers of racism disease.

Terza edizione del Fuori- Salone dell’arte!! Durante la settimana del MiArt torna il percorso di arte con-temporanea con 26 mostre ed eventi al Superstudio Più, grande polo espositivo in zona Tortona, una delle aree più creative di Milano. Progetti inediti, grandi artisti, performance, giovani promesse incontri.

Lunedì sera c’è stata l’inaugurazione più una massa di gente, ma sono previsti 10.000 spettatori, quindi siete ancora in tempo per ritagliarvi la vostra unità nel numero, fino al 30 marzo!

Tra tutti i lavori presentati, vorrei soffermarmi su uno che più degli altri riflette il nostro tempo e la nostra società.

“Diverso è un altro modo per dire noi” è un’opera del poeta ed artista Ivan. Lo spettatore si ritrova in una sala buia in cui capeggia un totem costituito da scatole luminose contenenti ognuna un ritratto fatto di fotografia e poesia. Rappresentati ci sono tra gli altri Prevert, Dario Fo, Pisolini, De Andrè, Van Basten e Ambrosoli, persone e personaggi che hanno influenzato direttamente o meno la vita dell’artista. Quasi in contrapposizione con la stanza buia, creata con l’utilizzo di pannelli di cartone neri, c’è una parete bianca riempita con poesie sulla nostra storia e sull’idea di diverso che definisce il concetto di noi.

Una riflessione sul nostro concetto di diversità, sulla distanza tra noi e gli altri, che risulta molto appropriato in un mondo globalizzato che continua a soffrire del morbo del razzismo.
