- Can you tell us something about yourself?
I have been a fine art photographer for over 20 years, in the last 5 years have turned it into a full time entreprenuerial passion. I have won many awards over the years in the US and canada for my creative photography on a variety of subject matter including landscapes, infared photography, polariod techniques, portraits, and black and white.
- How do you create your works?
My works are all digitally captured, but most are not digitally altered (except for the "Mod art" gallery). Photography is creatively captured on location utilizing in camera techniques with natural subject matter and natural lighting.
- What are your main sources of inspirations?
My inspirations come from old french painters, Monet, Renoir etc that offer a non literal viewpoint with emotion, movement, feeling that captures timeless visual poetry. I also am inspired by shooting in areas of the city that are not considered beautiful but I can find something there that is.
- What are your favourite artists? Why?
I don't really have any favorite artists per se. I like all kinds of art and can appreciate the talent and thought process that goes into them. It really is about the creative, mental process that determines artistic vision that works - that reaches the viewer.
- Ci puoi raccontare qualcosa su di te?
Sono un’artista fotografa da più di 20 anni, negli ultimi cinque anni ho trasformato questa mia passione in un’attività imprenditoriale. Ho vinto molti premi in questi anni in America e in Canada per le mie fotografie, su diversi soggetti, tra cui paesaggi, polaroid, ritratti e bianco e nero.
- Come crei i tuoi lavori?
Uso una macchina digitale, ma non modifico le fotografie digitalmente a eccezione della galleria “Mod art”. La fotografia è catturare momenti creativamente usando tecniche diverse, con soggetti e luci naturali.
- Quali sono le tue principali fonti d’ispirazione?
Le mie ispirazioni arrivano dai vecchi pittori francesi, Monet, Renoir etc, che offrono un punto di vista non letterale per le emozioni, i movimenti, le sensazioni e riescono a catturare così una poesia senzatempo. Sono anche ispirata dallo scattare fotografie in posti della città non considerati belli, ma che mi trasmettono qualcosa.
- Quali sono I tuoi artisti preferiti? Perchè?
Non ho artisti preferiti in generale. Amo tutte le forme d’arte e so apprezzare il talento e i processi artistici in esse racchiusi. Tutto sta nel processo creativo e mentale che determina la visione artistica che riesce a colpire lo spettatore.
