Good morning everyone! Today I want to present briefly Uwe Henneken, who is a German artist born in 1974. I am very curious about his works, which attract me at the beginning for their lively colours. His paintings have a unique style, with exaggerated, garish colours, darker tones and an ironic and grotesque feeling of the representation. In his works there are numerous reminds to romanticism and symbolism. The artist paints demonic figures, harlequins and clowns, placing them in landscapes that represent a ruined Arcadia. Henneken’s works reflect upon the human condition, the search for meaning and fear of the unknown.
Buongiorno a tutti! Oggi vorrei presentarvi brevemente Uwe Henneken, che è un artista Tedesco nato nel 1974. Sono molto incuriosita dai suoi dipinti, che all’inizio mi hanno attratto in particolare per i colori vivaci. Le sue opere hanno uno stile unico, con colori esagerati, toni dark e un senso ironico e grottesco della rappresentazione. Nei suoi dipinti sono numerosi I richiami al romanticsmo e al simbolismo. L’artista dipinge figure demoniache, arlecchini e pagliacci, ambientando il dipinto in un’Arcadia in rovina. Nella sua opera, l’artista riflette sulla condizione umana, la ricerca di un significato e la paura dell’ignoto.
